The Big Pink Review
When it comes to hair dye i never really stray from my usual blonde shade. Around a year ago i decided that i was going to stop dyeing my hair all together, and then the craze for funky coloured hair began.
With having dark blonde hair i didn't think that the rose shade would show up enough on my hair, therefore i purchased THE BIG PINK. I wanted a dip dye effect and it was easy to create myself at home, for only £5 from boots
This product is a semi-permanent colour, and on my hair it lasted between 3-4 washes, it faded slightly after the first wash. The only problem i had was that it did stain my skin, you need to make sure you wear a towel around your shoulders and use a petroleum jelly based product around your hairline to stop staining.
All in all i would certainly purchase this product again, actually i have the rose shade and another bottle of the big pink on order from Boots. If you have light coloured hair i would suggest looking at the Rose shade, however if your hair is any darker than mine The Big Pink would be your best option.
One bottle lasts a really long time, i have used it for approx 3 half head (dip dye effect) applications and i still have around half left. I would also suggest buying a hair dye brush applicator which you can buy from most chemists and supermarkets to get more of a professional result and MAKE SURE YOU USE GLOVES!!!!.
