Mac Rebel,
When i got my local mac counter in Debenhams Chester, i noticed alot of women looking at this dark purple, nearly black lipstick. I had a look at it and decided that it was not for me and would not suit my fair colouring, how wrong was i!!!!......... After i had returned home, Rebel lipstick was still playing on my mind so i did no more than go straight onto the Debenhams website and ordered it, and it did not disappoint, it's such a strange (in a good way) and unique shade, a beautiful deep plum colour which looks beautiful on fair, medium and dark skin.
I was initially scared of this shade in the tube but once on it looks lovely and can be layered up to get a medium or dark colour. It looks vampy in the tube, however when on the lips it has a slight resemblance to Mac's girl about town with a darker hue.
It is a very pigmented lipstick similar to Mac Russian Red in that respect, one swipe gives extreme pigmentation, i would highly recommend using a brush to apply this as it can stain the edges of your lips.
I will continue to purchase this lipstick when i use it all up, as it is so unique and just amazing.... it has great staying power similar to that of a lipstain and is great for the colder months.
Everyone should go and try this one out .......
