handmade brooches

I had been looking for a cute brooch for a while to spice up a plain outfit, after looking high and low for the perfect one i decided i would make my own.

After being given the black scottie dog iron-on motif a few months back and not sure which item to put it on *its permanent if you iron it on, i decided to attach a brooch pin (see picture two) and turn it into a brooch.

*Don't do what i did and forget to take it off my jumper before putting it in the wash, the heat makes them curl up at the edges, if this happens to you, place the brooch under a heavy book for a few hours or iron it under a thick towel to prevent the backing becoming sticky.
